Stephen Tonge

​Stephen Tonge is the founder and lead inspector of SPI, proudly serving homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals throughout the Denver area. As a Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) through InterNACHI, Steve brings a high level of knowledge, integrity, and professionalism to every inspection.

​

A graduate of the University of Colorado, Steve has more than 15 years of experience in facilities management, where he oversaw complex building operations and maintenance. This background gives him a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of how residential systems should perform. From structural components to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety features, Steve combines technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.

Known for his thoroughness, clear communication, and friendly demeanor, Steve’s mission is to provide clients with confidence and peace of mind during one of life’s biggest decisions. He is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive inspections backed by reliable, honest service.

When he’s not inspecting homes, Steve enjoys exploring Colorado’s outdoors with family, friends, and his loyal dog, Sherpa.
